附加疑問句的定義
附加疑問句，又稱反意疑問句。主要用于口語，其作用是說話人向?qū)Ψ津?yàn)證自己的陳述或者判斷，也可以用于祈使句表示請求或者建議。
附加疑問句的構(gòu)成
附加疑問句包括陳述部分和附加疑問部分。附加疑問部分一般由助動詞、be動詞或情態(tài)動詞和表示主語的代詞構(gòu)成。
肯定式陳述部分＋否定附加疑問部分
You often play badminton, don’t you？
You’re going to the gym with me, aren’t you？
否定式陳述部分＋肯定附加疑問部分
He is not a middle school student, is he？
They can’t finish it by Friday, can they？
含有否定詞的陳述部分＋肯定附加疑問部分
Nobody saw him walk into the room, did they？
You’ve never been to Paris, have you？
附加疑問句的回答
附加疑問句的答語與一般疑問句類似，注意其與漢語表達(dá)習(xí)慣的差異。如：
◆—The 29th Olympic Games were held in Beijing, weren’t they?
——第29屆奧運(yùn)會在北京舉辦的，是嗎？
—Yes, they were．(Yes, that’s right．)
——是的，是在北京。(是的，那是對的。)
◆—Michael Jordan started to play basketball in college, didn’t he?
——邁克爾•喬丹在大學(xué)開始打籃球，是嗎？
—No, he didn’t．He first played in a team in senior high school．
——不，他不是。他最開始在一個高中球隊(duì)打球。
◆—David has been to a boxing match, hasn’t he?
——大衛(wèi)去過拳擊比賽現(xiàn)場，是嗎？
—No, he hasn’t．He always watches boxing on TV．
——不，他沒有去過。他總是在電視上看拳擊比賽。
◆—You can’t cook, can you?
——你不會做飯，是嗎？
—Yes, I can．I’m good at cooking．
——不，我會。我擅長做飯。
變附加疑問句部分時應(yīng)注意的問題
1．當(dāng)陳述部分含有seldom, hardly, never, rarely, few, little, nowhere, nothing等否定詞或半否定詞時，簡短問句應(yīng)用肯定形式。
◆She seldom goes to the cinema, does she?
她很少去看電影，是嗎？
◆He has never been to London, has he?
他從沒去過倫敦，是嗎？
2．當(dāng)陳述部分中有表示否定意義的(含有im，in，dis，un等否定前綴或less等否定后綴的)詞時，應(yīng)把陳述部分視為肯定句，簡短問句要用否定式。
◆He was unsuccessful, wasn’t he?
他沒成功，是嗎？
◆Your mother dislikes seeing you with me, doesn’t she?
你母親不喜歡看到你和我在一起，是嗎？
3．當(dāng)陳述部分是“there be＋主語＋其他”結(jié)構(gòu)時，反意疑問部分要用“be＋there”結(jié)構(gòu)。
◆There are some apples in the box, aren’t there?
箱子里有一些蘋果，是嗎？
