1.all of a sudden 突然
常在句中作狀語(yǔ), 說(shuō)明某一動(dòng)作發(fā)生時(shí)的情況相當(dāng)于suddenly.
e.g.All of a sudden, right after the summer, She gets married.
2.go down 倒下
e.g.Their aircraft went down during a training exercise.
3.so, that 如此;以至于
so 為副詞, 后面可接形容詞或副詞,that 為連詞, 后接結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句。與so,that , 類似的結(jié)構(gòu)為:such , that 。二者意思相同, 不同的是such 后面接名詞。
so, that , 引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句, 可以與too , to , 或“ not+ 形容+enough to do sth. ”作同義句轉(zhuǎn)換。
【拓展】
(1)so 后面也可以接名詞, 但應(yīng)該有many,much,few,little 等表示量的形容詞對(duì)名詞加以修飾, 這時(shí)句式結(jié)構(gòu)為:
① so many/few+ 可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)+that 從句
② so much/little+ 不可數(shù)名詞+that 從句
e.g.My garden was covered with so many butterflies that I could hardly see the flowers.
e.g.These are so much water that I can,t through it.
(2)so , that 句式在修飾可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)時(shí)還可以用在下面的句式中:
so+形容詞+a/an+ 可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)+that 從句。
