定語從句(2)
課堂要點精析
定語從句除了由關(guān)系代詞引導外，還可由關(guān)系副詞when, where, why引導，它們在從句中作狀語。
關(guān)系副詞when引導的定語從句
when表示時間，代替先行詞并在定語從句中作時間狀語，其先行詞往往是表示時間的名詞，如time，day，hour，year等。
◆We will never forget the year when the 29th Olympic Games were held in Beijing.
我們將永遠不會忘記第29屆奧運會在北京舉辦的那一年。
◆(重慶卷)He lived in a time when the blind couldn’t get much education.
他生活在一個盲人得不到教育的時代。
◆Do you remember the days when we chatted with each other all night？
你還記得我們整夜聊天的那些日子嗎？(when在從句中作狀語)
◆Do you remember the days that/which we spent together on the farm？
你還記得我們在農(nóng)場一起度過的那些日子嗎？(that或which作spent的賓語)
關(guān)系副詞where引導的定語從句
where表示地點，代替先行詞并在定語從句中作地點狀語，其先行詞往往是表示地點的名詞，如place，factory，house，village等。
◆The house where I lived ten years ago has been pulled down. 我十年前居住的那所房子已經(jīng)被拆了。
◆He is now working in the factory where his father worked. 現(xiàn)在他正在他父親工作過的那家工廠工作。
關(guān)系副詞why引導的定語從句
why表示原因，代替先行詞并在定語從句中作原因狀語，其先行詞一般是reason這個詞。
◆I don’t know the reason why he didn’t turn to his good friend for help yesterday.
我不知道昨天他為什么沒向他的好朋友求助。

寫作指導
文體感知
1．此類文章以“說明”為主要表達方式，用來介紹動物的類屬、生活習性、生存狀態(tài)、外貌特征等，可對描述的對象作總體概括介紹，給人以直觀的總體認識，然后進行具體說明，目的在于讓人了解此種動物。
2．此類文章多用一般現(xiàn)在時。文章應(yīng)合理安排結(jié)構(gòu)，注意行文要條理清晰，在動筆之前要想好描述順序，句與句之間怎樣連接，段與段之間怎樣聯(lián)系。

The Golden Monkey
