It takes (sb.) some time to do sth.意為“做某事花費(fèi)(某人)多少時(shí)間”，其中It為形式主語， 后面的不定式短語to do sth. 是真正的主語。此外， take 還可表示“需要” 之意， it takes/took...to do sth.做某事需要……

(2)sb.spend some time/money (in) doing/on sth.某人花費(fèi)多少時(shí)間/金錢做某事

2. 倍數(shù)句型
(教材P68)However, making a paper bag uses four times as much energy as making a plastic bag and up to three times the amount of water.

句中four times as much energy as making a plastic bag是倍數(shù)比較的常用形式，其結(jié)構(gòu)為： ...倍數(shù)＋as many/much＋n.＋as...。
常見的倍數(shù)句型：
