Grammar

英語(yǔ)中有兩種語(yǔ)態(tài):主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)和被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)表示主語(yǔ)是動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者,被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)表示主語(yǔ)是動(dòng)作的承受者。如: 

Many people read this novel. 

(主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),主語(yǔ)Many people是read這一動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者)

This novel is read by many people. 

(被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),主語(yǔ)This novel是read這一動(dòng)作的承受者)

用法

(1)不知道或沒(méi)必要說(shuō)明動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者是誰(shuí)。

Paper is made from wood.

(2)需要強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作的承受者。

He was awarded the first prize.

(3)出于禮貌等方面的考慮不愿說(shuō)出動(dòng)作的執(zhí)行者。

He was asked to give a talk about how to learn English well.

(4)用于表示“據(jù)說(shuō)/據(jù)報(bào)道/人們相信”等的固定句式。

Translation:

據(jù)說(shuō)我們將在校園里使用機(jī)器人。

It’s said that robots will be used in our school. 

人們相信健康重于財(cái)富。

It is believed that health is above wealth.

被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的注意事項(xiàng)如下:

(1) there be結(jié)構(gòu)沒(méi)有被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。

(2) happen,rise,appear,come out等不及物動(dòng)詞(短語(yǔ))沒(méi)有被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。

(3)主動(dòng)句中賓語(yǔ)為反身代詞的沒(méi)有被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。

(4) look,sound,smell 等系動(dòng)詞或sell,write, wash等表示主語(yǔ)內(nèi)在“品質(zhì)”或“性能”的不及物動(dòng)詞可以用主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)表示被動(dòng)含義。 e.g. These books sell well.這些書(shū)賣(mài)得很好。

(5) talk about,pay attention to,take care of 等動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)在變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)時(shí),其中的介詞不可遺漏。e.g. She takes good care of her daughter. 

Her daughter is taken good care of by her.

她把女兒照顧得很好。

(6)在主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)中,see,watch,hear等感官動(dòng)詞和使役動(dòng)詞make后接省略to的動(dòng)詞不定式,但在變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)時(shí),要把省略的to還原。

e.g. I saw my boss buy some postcards. 

→My boss was seen to buy some postcards by me.

我看見(jiàn)我的老板買(mǎi)了一些明信片。

(7)雙賓語(yǔ)結(jié)構(gòu)改為被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)時(shí),若直接賓語(yǔ)作主語(yǔ),動(dòng)詞后要加上介詞;若間接賓語(yǔ)作主語(yǔ),則動(dòng)詞后不用加介詞。

My teacher gives me some advice.

→ Some advice is given to me by my teacher.

→I am given some advice by my teacher.

我的老師給我許多建議。

... ... ...
